At automed we seek to revolutionize the livestock medication technology business with our one-of-a-kind, world-class product. In pursuit of this goal, we fill our team with forward-thinking, innovative people who are as enthusiastic about the industry as we are. Our new marketing manager, Brooke German, is an excellent example of this philosophy. An online expert with a passion for agriculture, she will help grow automed’s online presence both locally and internationally.
Born into the business
A born-and-raised Iowan, Brooke spent her early years on her family’s row crop and cattle farm. An animal-lover with a knack for communication, she went on to complete a bachelors in Marketing & Digital Advertising from the University of Northern Iowa.
Brooke never forgot her agricultural roots which, in combination with her technical know-how, led her to the position of Director of Marketing at the Iowa Beef Industry Council before joining the team at automed. Cattle Business Weekly named her one of the Top 10 Industry Leaders Under 40 in 2018.
An automed asset
Brooke has started off strong at automed, particularly in terms of establishing our social media strategy and generating excitement around automed’s presence at upcoming expos.
In fact, it was at the 2018 NCBA Trade Show in Phoenix, Arizona where Brooke first learned about automed. Intrigued by the innovative use of technology and the high growth potential, she joined the team in December to help lead our marketing strategy and implementation.
Along with social media and advertising, Brooke will be leading other forms of online marketing, including websites, events and expo planning, company branding and messaging, and product material. She will be providing support to the sales team by creating crucial marketing materials for sales and global distributors.
2019 and beyond
2019 looks to be a year filled with success for Brooke, focusing on growing automed’s social media and online presence. Outside of automed, she enjoys cooking and spending time at the Lake of the Ozarks with her husband Cody, and son Cole.
Brooke’s marketing and social media expertise, along with her strong background in the beef industry, make her a credit to the automed team.
